Scrivener has so many features that you have to work hard to learn them all and there are even courses you can buy to enable yourself to make full use of Scrivener. In fact, I have barely scratched the surface. The benefit to Scrivener is the HUGE amount of features. I have, however, found this difference: Scrivener seems to be better for writing novels and yWriter works extremely well for writing blogs. The storyboard display is a unique feature of the app, for it gives you a chance to include the references, characters, and chapters among others. Just like a normal book set up, the biography, references, objectives notes, acknowledgment sections are all within the app just for you to key in the words. There is a pre-designed plot complete with names which are editable, your work is just to customize the template to suit your storyline. It comes with a formatted notepad to accommodate chapters and scenes as well as a side notepad for short notes. Why not try this app that is a one-stop shop for all your writing needs? It makes sure the notes, sketches, and the plot is all organized in an orderly manner such that when you are doing the final output you have a flow of ideas and plan. This is a complex process owing to the fact that some of the thoughts come in the middle of the night that getting your notebook is a challenge. Writing involves visualization of ideas and thoughts, putting them together, sketching the plot and finally putting the final write up in place.
